Legend identifies 10.5 cm, 8.8 cm, 7.5 cm, 3.7 cm and 2 cm anti-aircraft weapons and searchlight batteries.

The map plots battery and unit locations on Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey and across the Seventh Army area. Island annotations distinguish heavy batteries, light batteries, training batteries, four-barrel gun platoons and searchlight batteries. Alderney's list clearly gives four heavy and four searchlight batteries; other faint figures cannot all be read securely. Guernsey's list includes four light batteries, two training batteries, five four-barrel gun platoons and seven searchlight batteries; its heavy-battery figure appears to be six. Jersey's heavy-battery figure also appears to be six, but the remaining figures are too faint for a confident transcription.

Mainland locations include Cherbourg, Théville, Caen, Granville, Saint-Malo–Dinard, Saint-Brieuc, Lannion, Morlaix, Brest, Rennes, Le Mans, Lorient, Vannes, Belle Île–Île de Groix, Saint-Nazaire, Nantes and Angers. Brest, Lorient and Saint-Nazaire also have barrage-balloon annotations.

The full original map is retained for individual emplacement symbols and numbers. Fine pencil annotations and some numerical summaries remain uncertain at this scan resolution; this is a deployment map, not a firing report.
