16 June 1943 Engineering account of M 452 harbour barrier damage

Editorial note: Supplementary technical account of the incident above, dated by the event; the engineering report covers 16–30 June.

M 452 on 16 June caught its starboard propeller in the St Peter Port net barrier. Divers cleared it, but the propeller cap was lost. On 17 June the barrier anchor chain was removed from the propeller and the boat went to the St Malo dock.
