15 October 1942 Heightened readiness, 15–16 October

Favourable weather for enemy operations, winds of force two to four and morning haze prompted heightened readiness from 21:00 on 15 October throughout the coast and islands. Divisions cancelled next morning according to visibility. Corps reported cancellation at 08:30 on 16 October.
