15 February 1942 Jersey Harbour Commandant diary

St Helier and St Peter Port: St Helier harbour light burning from 2015, extinguished at 2050 owing to an air-raid warning, lit at 2130, extinguished 2245. Lit at 0300, extinguished 0430, relit 0530 [order as recorded]. During the reporting period scheduled routine vessels operating between the islands were handled according to plan. Signed v. Nostitz, Lieutenant Commander and Harbour Commandant Channel Islands; closing date typed “St Helier, 1.2.1942”, although this extract covers 1–15 February.
