Summary: Squadron 34 records an uneventful night patrol approximately twelve miles off La Corbière, ending at first light. Squadron 30 records PT 458 and PT 461 ending their preceding patrol at 0615 and mooring at Cherbourg at 0955.

Editorial note: The reports differ on the date of the Squadron 30 boats’ return to Portland: Squadron 34 says 15 August, while Squadron 30 records departure on 16 August. Preserve the discrepancy.
