14 November 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary
Cloudy, NNE 5–6, visibility 5–6 nautical miles, moderate sea. 1837: FK 08/21 went to patrol position. 1900: Vp 207/212 arrived from Cherbourg. 2200: Vp 712 departed for Cherbourg with Dorothea Weber, tug H 123 S and a triple Kümo assembly. 2250: Vp 722 departed late because her anchor cable was fouled.
