IV) Operations officer, Naval Staff Operations Division

a) The Naval Commander, Channel Islands, has reported that, according to a medical assessment, the fortress commander, Lieutenant General von Schmettow, is suffering from a serious lung illness and may soon become unfit for duty.

If he does in fact become unfit for duty, that will be the appropriate moment to make the naval commander the fortress commander.
