Seventh Army’s periodic report assesses 319th Division with the other listed coastal divisions: question 1, no, because formation training and equipment are inadequate; question 2, only with reinforced battalions for the same reasons; questions 3 and 4, fully suitable for coastal defence. The questions themselves are not printed and are not reconstructed here.

319th Division’s shortage is three engineer officers and 306 NCOs and enlisted men combined.
