13 October 1943 Operations daily report

Georgian 823 HQ, staff company and Companies 1–4 arrived Guernsey. Georgian 795 Companies 2–4 arrived 709th Division. Construction Material Column 59 arrived Château Fontenay, 5.5 km east of Montebourg. Old 8/389 moved Neuilly [typed “Neatry,”faint], 5 km northeast of Lison. Equipment Battery Fort du Roule renamed Hessen; Cosqueville renamed Thüringen. Engineer 352 cadre from 371st Division arrived and joined Normandy Battle Group. Further divisional reports: no special events. Distribution: commanding general, chief of staff, quartermaster, intelligence, artillery commander and operations.
