No special occurrences.
All Organisation Todt workers were withdrawn because of typhus cases and quarantine. Using its own personnel, the battery installed the command-periscope tube in the fire-control post, completed another Tobruk position and extended the wiring for the anti-aircraft positions.
Strasbourg battery: after Organisation Todt labour was withdrawn while the main fire-control bunker was being poured, battery personnel continued the work themselves. Work on the gun embankments continued. Six shelters for anti-aircraft crews were recamouflaged and were largely complete. Ammunition recesses for the 8.76-cm guns were completed.
Battery Steinbruch: following withdrawal of all Organisation Todt workers from the site, the battery made every road within its grounds passable on foot, as there was now no motor-vehicle traffic. The roof of another storm-damaged barrack was repaired. Splinter-protection embankments for three barracks at three anti-aircraft automatic-weapon positions were raised and repaired.
