11 October 1943 Channel Islands Sea Defence diary
Weather: wind 338°, 3 m/sec. Les Hanois lighthouse — Security Measure Ida Gustav, serial No. 14 in the Channel Islands security plan — was out of action because its oil-pressure vessel and oil pump leaked. Naval Artillery Battalion 605 received a firing-simulator apparatus.
