Seventh Army Headquarters to Commander-in-Chief West, Army Group D. Subject: withdrawal of divisions.

Clause 4: “Withdrawal of elements of the 319th Infantry Division (Channel Islands), subject to further directions from Commander-in-Chief West.”

Closing request: Army Headquarters asks for early approval of the measures already prepared and those proposed, so that the order already issued can be supplemented if necessary.

Editorial note: This is a conditional proposal within a wider plan. It does not establish that troops actually left the Channel Islands.
