Shipping to the Channel Islands resumed. Platoon III/4/Mixed Flak Battalion 683 moved from Caen and Platoon IV/6/Light Flak Battalion 844 from Carpiquet to Saint-Lô. Major General von Geyso assumed command of the 709th Division. The division inspected the Saint-Marcouf island group: no special findings.
