10 June 1944

The Channel Islands Sea Defence Command reported air attacks on the Jersey radar station and Battery 5./1265; neither suffered damage. An attack on Sark harbour also caused no casualties or damage. Earlier, fighter-bombers attacked two U-boats off Guernsey; one U-boat was damaged and two attacking aircraft were claimed shot down. [T-1022/2174, PG 38468, scans 0357 and 0361]
