Diary Entry
10 July 1944 Part 1 Guernsey coastal battery drives off enemy ships
The north coast of Brittany and the Channel Islands area continued to be watched by enemy naval units. An enemy formation of ships [30?] kilometres northeast of Peter Port was forced to turn away by a coastal battery on Guernsey.
During the night of 9–10 July, individual enemy aircraft again flew in to supply the resistance fighters, especially in the LXXIV Army Corps area, around Avranches and Lannion. No special events were recorded in the remainder of the Army area.
