1 September 1942 Alderney Harbour Commandant diary
Partly cloudy, visibility 15 nautical miles, SSE 4–5, sea 2. 0700: FK 04/21 returned from patrol. 1230: FK 08/07/03/22 arrived from Guernsey carrying General Müller, commander of 319th Infantry Division, to inspect the island. 1900: FK 03/07 departed for Guernsey with General Müller. 2230: FK 08/22 went to patrol position.
