1 October 1944 US Navy island patrol returns in rough seas
Rough seas caused the patrol that sailed on 30 September to secure without contact at 0130. The boats entered Cherbourg at 0300 on 1 October. The diary assesses the performance of men and equipment as satisfactory. [J screenshot 4]
