Diary Entry
1 July 1943 Channel Islands divisional artillery organisation
Editorial note: The repeated chart gives the same battery organisation. Its separate divisional weapon summary differs between the translations, recording 36 light field howitzers in scan 0560 and 30 in scan 0593; the detailed battalion listing is retained here without reconciling that discrepancy.
Artillery Regiment 319: headquarters and I–IV Battalions, each with three batteries. I Battalion has three batteries each with four 8 cm (t) field guns, 2 machine guns and a 2 cm antiaircraft weapon; range 13.5 km indicated above the guns. II–IV Battalions each have three batteries of four 10 cm (t) light howitzers, 2 machine guns and a 2 cm antiaircraft weapon; range 9.6 km indicated.
