1 January 1944 Part 2 Coastal Defence Group Périers and the Écréhous
Date: 1 January 1944, as given on the archival description card at PDF page 715. Map scans: PDF pages 717 and 718, frames 000709 and 000710. Folder title: Coastal Defence Sector J, Seventh Army Headquarters; Coastal Defence Group Périers, including the Jobourg and Western Cotentin subgroups.
The two scans form the northern and southern parts of the Périers map. The southern part includes the Écréhous at its upper-left edge, labelled “ÉCRÉHOU” on the base map. The heavy military annotations chiefly concern the mainland coast; the Écréhous appear as a geographical reference.
