1 August: M 4613 and M 4618 proceeding from Jersey to Granville under M 4613's commander. Order from Saint-Malo escort office: on the evening of 31 July escort Chiemsee to Granville, then continue with tug Vulkan and Progressus to Saint-Malo. 04:00: released Chiemsee off Granville as ordered and continued with the remainder. Wind NNE 1, sea 1, clear, visibility 20 nautical miles. 06:10: passed Grand Jardin. 06:30: anchored in Saint-Malo roads with convoy. 07:50: secured in lock. 08:30: secured at berth, normal readiness. Signed Fieguth.
