F. Actual total consumption by subordinate units and offices during the last ten-day reporting period, separating liquid and solid fuels as under A, and combining each into a single figure.

In reports under A to F, consumption units, stocks and consumption on the mainland must be separated from those on the Channel Islands — Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney. Consumption units, stocks and consumption on the three islands are to be reported as one combined figure.

The quantities reported under C, D and E must not be included in the quantity under B.

II Fuel requisitions

Reports are to be submitted by:

a. Corps headquarters for corps troops collectively, divisions individually, and Army troops individually.

b. Divisions and brigades directly subordinate to Army headquarters.

c. Army troops and schools directly subordinate to Army headquarters.

d. The command authorities of the supply troops.

1. By the fifth of each month

The shortfall in the initial allocation of liquid fuel for generating sets, stating the consumption unit — one unit equals one hour’s consumption — and the operating time for which the initial allocation is to be stored. A nil return is not required.

2. By the tenth of each month

Stocks and shortfalls in the initial allocation of liquid fuel for motor vehicles, as at the eighth of the current month, using Enclosure 1 to Annex 3.

3. By the tenth of each month

The requirement for liquid fuel during the coming month for training and the formation of new units — bringing forward the necessary equipment, transferring vehicles from unloading stations, etc. — using Enclosure 2 to Annex 3.

The entire training programme envisaged for the coming month must be taken into account. The report must include a schedule showing all training activities at battalion level and above and, for motorised units, activities requiring more than one cubic metre. A nil return is not required.
