00 Undated Part 5

Undated Guernsey artillery map variants in the 1942 army files

Date note: Undated military overlays filed among the 1942 maps; retained after the dated chronology.

Editorial note: Selected island-related text and translated chart keys; original symbols and numerical tables are retained in the images. Uncertain small annotations are not silently expanded.

The Guernsey maps record artillery symbols on a topographic base. The annotated copies include the Fifteenth Army artillery staff reference No. 238/42, secret command matter. The map variants are retained together as supporting evidence.

English key: Div.-Artl., divisional artillery; Heer.-Küst.-Artl., Army coastal artillery; Marine-Artl., naval artillery; 2. Ausgabe, second edition; Gitter Lambert I Zone Nord, Lambert grid I northern zone; Nur für den Dienstgebrauch, for official use only.

The August 1941 date printed on the second-edition base maps is not a verified date for the military overlays. No exact deployment date is assigned. Repeated copies are cited without creating a separate incident.
